P2 Cryptographic Security

Zero-Knowledge Protection for Your Critical Digital Secrets

Cloud password managers get breached. Centralized servers get subpoenaed. AliVault stores your API tokens, server SSH credentials, financial master keys, and passwords in an encrypted local enclave that only your master passphrase can unlock.

Cryptographic Primitives

Authenticated AES-256 GCM & Memory-Hard Key Derivation

AliVault uses industry-standard AES-256 GCM (Galois/Counter Mode) encryption providing confidentiality and mathematical tamper verification.

Master passphrases undergo 600,000 rounds of PBKDF2 or Argon2id key stretching, making brute-force GPU cluster dictionary attacks mathematically futile. Plaintext never touches disk storage.

Developer & Power User Tools

Integrated API Key & Seed Phrase Storage

Developers juggle dozens of OpenAI, Anthropic, AWS, GitHub, and database keys. Insecurely pasting them into .env files or Slack messages creates critical vulnerabilities.

AliVault provides structured categories for API tokens, database connection strings, and cryptocurrency recovery phrases, with one-click secure clipboard copying that automatically purges your clipboard after 30 seconds.

FAQ

AliVault Security Questions

No. AliVault is mathematically zero-knowledge. Your vault file is encrypted entirely on your machine before any byte is saved. We have neither your passphrase nor the mathematical capability to decrypt your vault.
Yes, you can export your encrypted .alivault blob to an offline USB drive, external hard disk, or your own self-hosted cloud storage. The encrypted file is completely unreadable without your master passphrase.
